What Is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology — specifically applied kinesiology or muscle testing (also known as psycho-kinesiology) — is a practice that uses the body’s muscular response as a feedback system to access information from the subconscious mind. The premise is simple: the body knows things the conscious mind does not.

In clinical and therapeutic settings, muscle testing has been used for decades to identify food sensitivities, emotional blocks, and even subconscious belief patterns. Our founder Adrian has spent years developing his practice of psycho-kinesiology through Subconscious Surgery — a discipline focused on clearing subconscious blocks and accessing deeper truth through the body’s own intelligence.

How We Apply It to Crystal Design

When a new piece of raw Siberian Blue arrives in our Bali studio, we begin by holding the crystal and entering a grounded, receptive state. We then move through a series of questions using the muscle testing protocol:

What shape does this crystal wish to become? What sacred geometry symbol, if any, should be incorporated? Which Arcturian symbols are aligned with this stone’s frequency? Should this piece be set in silver, gold, or worn as raw? What is its primary purpose — protection, activation, throat chakra, third eye, heart field?

The muscle test responds to each question with a clear strong or weak signal. Strong means yes, aligned, true. Weak means no, misaligned, not this. We follow the responses precisely — no override, no ego, no personal preference overriding what the crystal communicates.

Why This Matters Energetically

Siberian Blue quartz is one of the most programmable and energetically coherent crystals known to consciousness practitioners. Its cobalt-doped hydrothermal structure produces an exceptionally stable molecular lattice — meaning it holds intention with unusual clarity and consistency.

One of the most powerful findings from our kinesiology design sessions was the discovery of what we call the Cosmic Vein — a naturally occurring feature within certain Siberian Blue crystals where internal cobalt distribution creates a visible energetic pathway through the stone. Through muscle testing, we discovered that pieces cut to preserve and feature this vein tested significantly stronger than those that ignored it.
